This party took place on, I believe, April 20th, 2000. It was the Thursday before Good Friday, so we didn't have school the next day. I didn't have school that day either, since I went to the Young Authors Conference that year. In fact, I didn't even have school on my birthday, the Wednesday before the party, because we had an inservice day. During that inservice day, Erin and Pam made me a cake as a surprise. They called me at about 8 p.m. telling me to meet them at Monrtose Park. Since they waited so long to make the cake, it was still warm when they iced it so the icing was gooey and melted. We ate the cake with forks, no cutting into slice or anything like that, then walked around the neighbourbood. We went to the Raclebazian "headquarters" and accidentally dropped the glass pan that the cake was in. The cake fell onto the pebbly ground and the glass broke. We left the cake there and haven't seen it since. Here are pictures from my actual party to compensate for the boringness of that story.
